We are sad to announce that on February 21, 2020, at the age of 88, Barbara Lee Burlew (Columbus, Indiana), born in Vevay, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Rucker and Amanda Johnson Rucker; her daughter Carla Mae Pacheco Flescher; and her siblings, Leonard (Lula Mae Rucker), Cora (Kenneth Brown), Lewis Rucker, Bernice (Johnny Wright) and Eugene Rucker.

She is survived by: her spouse Elza Carl Burlew; her children, Terry Burlew (Linda) of Columbus and Lee Ann Vorndran (Steve) of Columbus; her grandchildren, Erica Vorndran, Courtney Grace, Sarah Treesh, Mandie Conlin, Grace Stearman, Alaina Vorndran-Hatfield, Alex Vorndran Henry and Matthew Vorndran; and her sisters-in-law, Betty Rucker and Ruth Rucker. She is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Parkside Baptist Church, Keepsake Village of Columbus, or Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.
