She was predeceased by: her parents, John D. Gillaspy and Florence L. Prather-Gillaspy; her grandparents, Marion, Dorothy Prather, Fred and Margaret Gillaspy; and her uncle Marion "Shorty" Prather (Wilma).
She is survived by: her husband Marvin R. Dean; her children, Philip Miles (Mary), Douglas Miles, Terry Brison (Clarence) and Ray Dean (Diana); her grandchildren, John Miles, Jared Miles, Cora Brison, Cameron Brison (Whitney), Leelynn Dean and Samantha Peterson (Shane); her great grandchildren, Maverick Brison and Dean Peterson; her brother Marion "Sonny" Gillaspy (Patty); and her nieces, Gisele Coffman (Troy) and Nicole Sturgill (Brian).
A graveside service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Garland Brook Cemetery (501 N Gladstone Ave, Columbus, IN 47201).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Jonesville Christian Church or Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.
