She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Charles McQueen and Bertha McQueen (Gressel); her former husband Glenn W. Thompson (Tom); her son Robert Thompson (Bobby); her husband Tom Thompson of Columbus; her brother Dick McQueen (Karen) of Atlanta, Georgia; her children, Rick Thompson (Joyce) of Noblesville, Indiana and Debbie Vaky (Peter) of Marietta, Georgia; her daughter-in-law Rebecca Brown Thompson of Bend; and her grandchildren, Ben (Stephanie), Chris (Ashley), Katie Vaky, Angela Dimitrelias, Jonathan Thompson (Tara) and Cameron Thompson.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 719 5th Street, Columbus, Indiana, 47201.
