Allen D. Barr Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Allen D. Barr of Columbus, Indiana, who passed away on January 6, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry S. Barr and Alice E. Clark Barr; his wife Mary E. Duncan; his daughter Belinda Roane; his grandson Jeremey Roane; and his brother Gene Barr.
He is survived by: his close friend Millie Brown of Columbus; his sons, Bill Barr (Betty) of Seymour and Bret Barr (Kelly) of North Vernon; his son-in-law Paul Roane of Commiskey; and his grandchildren, Billy Barr (Lindsey), Andy Barr (Rayna), Beverly Vogel, Brandon Barr, Owen Barr, Wyat Barr, Crystal Romine and Kayleigh Roane. He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren; two nephews, and one niece.
Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
