He was predeceased by: his parents, James Wilbert and Hazel Sophia Gaff (Raypole); his grandson Craig Zell; his siblings, Alpheus Gaff, Jesse Gaff, Julian Gaff, Jimmy Gaff, Agnes Stanley, Genevera Arnold, Ruth Coy, Betty Egner and Mary Francis Gaff; and his son-in-law Donald Zell.
He is survived by: his wife Priscilla Gaff (Ewbank) of Columbia City; his children, Darby Zell of Columbia City, Donna Ruby (Shannon) of Columbia City, Dale Gaff (Lisa) of Columbia City and Douglas Gaff (Jenny) of Albion; and his brother Norbert Wayne Gaff. He is also survived by six grandchildren; thirteen great- grandchildren.
Memorial donations are to the Noble County Township Fire Department.
