She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin D. Geyer and Edith I. Geyer (Smith); her husband Richard A. Klopfenstein; her daughter Terri Wait; and her siblings, Bill Geyer, Jean Hamman and Sharon Hyde.
She is survived by: her daughter Judi J. Dunn of Columbia City; her grandchildren, Nikki Buckley (David) of Fishers, Taylor Retter (Jeff) of Churubusco and Adam Simcoe (Aggie) of Bothell, WA; and her great grandchildren, Sarah Buckley, Ava Simcoe, Nat Simcoe, Grace Simcoe and Graham Retter.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Smith & Sons Funeral Home (207 N Main St, Columbia City, IN 46725). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at the South Park Annex Cemetery (1500 IN-205, Columbia City, IN 46725).
