He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard King and Laverne King (Bailey); and his siblings, Jack, Wesley, Kenny, Delbert, Betty, Lotty, Loretta and Bea.
He is survived by: his wife Connie Lou Wineland; his children, Brian Wineland (Mari) of Columbia City, Tavi Johnson (Ryan Graves) of Columbia City and Roger Lee Johnson Jr. of Columbia City; his grandchildren, Hailey, Cody, Savannah (Brian), Layla, Adaisyn, Brantlyne (Tavi), Ariyana and Nevaeh (Jay); and his brother Harold Johnson (Shirley) of Avilla. He is also survived by 40 nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews.
