Roberta Janet Gipe Obituary

We are sad to announce that on June 3, 2023, at the age of 93, Roberta Janet Gipe of Columbia City, Indiana, born in Dubois, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, J. Fred Andrew and Bernice Madeline Andrew (Killion); her husband Dick Gipe; her daughter Anne K. Easterday; her granddaughter Megan Easterday; and her siblings, Pauline Stout, Dorothy Willer, Thomas Andrew, Glen Andrew, Lee Andrew, Dean Andrew and Harold Andrew.

She is survived by: her children, Duane Gipe (Kathy), Robert Gipe and Jeanne Cox (Steve); her grandchildren, Derick Gipe (Tatum), Morgan Gipe, Christina Tylinski (Tim), Brent Cox (Lindy) and Lauren Salla (Chris); her great grandchildren, Marshall Cox, Clark Cox, Ethan Tylinski, Camden Gipe, Teagan Gipe and Raegan Gipe; her son-in-law Larry Easterday; her sisters, Marcella Mart and Mary Brickey; and her siblings-in-law, Donna Andrew and Paul Willer.

Memorial donations may be given in memory to Promedica (formerly Heartland Hospice), Megan Easterday Harrison Elementary Scholarship or towards the bingo fund at Oak Point Assisted Living, in care of DeMoney-Grimes.
