With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Haney of Columbia City, Indiana, born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, who passed away on August 25, 2022 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph P. Haney and Martha R. Haney (Miller); his wife Joy Haney; his daughter Jill Gilbert; his son-in-law Stephen McDevitt; and his siblings, Joseph F. Haney, John G. Haney, Arneda Fulk and Arlene Diller.
He is survived by: his children, Col. Mark (Mary) and Dawn McDevitt; and his sister Hannah Walker. He is also survived by six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be given in memory to First Church of God or Honor Flight Northeast Indiana.
