He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Ropp and Eleanor Ropp (Lessner); his grandparents, Cleo and Doris Ropp; his half-sister Karen Keller; his aunt Jean Ferrell; his uncle Robert Ropp; and his pet Bailie.
He is survived by: his wife Rita Hinen of Columbia City; his children, Jon Ropp (Dawn) of Carmel, IN, Cheri Ropp (Tom Boivin) of Evansville, WI and Jay Ropp (Krissy) of Larwill; and his siblings, Joy Lee (Mike) of Garland, TX and Daniel Ropp (Melanie) of Reno, NV.. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren.
