It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Luther Schuman of Columbia City, Indiana, who passed away on June 27, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Richard Luther may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Richard Luther touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Earl and Dorothy C. Schuman (Kanable). He is survived by: his siblings, Paul R. Schuman of Columbia City, Mary E. Schuman of Columbia City and Nancy J. Schuman of Columbia City; and his nieces, Diana Hare (Kim) and Lisa Peppler. He is also survived by two great-nieces; and five great-great nieces and nephews.
