He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph J. Bailey and Pearl C. Bailey (Goppert); his former wife Lauretta C. Bailey; and his siblings, Ruby Widman, Helen Aldrich, Cora Barney, Robert Bailey, Lewis Bailey and Donald Bailey.

He is survived by: his wife Myrna J. Bailey (Geyer); his children, Dennis G. Bailey (Susan), Gary Bailey, Kerry J. Bailey (Becky), Bart A. Bailey (Becky), Bret A. Bailey and Diann K. Weade; and his stepdaughters, Diana J. Hare (Kim) and Lisa A. Peppler. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.

Memorials in Ralph's honor in lieu of flowers are to the Whitley County Community Foundation.
