He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira F. Uhrick and Opal Uhrick (McAbee); his former wife Helen May Nichelson; and his siblings, Gale, Jack, Gene, Chance, Earl Uhrick, Lucille Hardy, Charolotte Berger, Florence Story and Ruth Hadley.
He is survived by: his wife Anita Marie Wherry; his children, George Uhrick (Emilie) of Fort Wayne and Loretta L. Gibson (Mike Brandt) of Fort Wayne; his stepchildren, Jesse Singleton of Columbia City and Jason Singleton of Columbia City; and his grandchildren, Chad Rolli, Thomas Gibson, Roger Rose, April Hadley, Tracy West and George Uhrick, Jr..
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Smith & Sons Funeral Home (207 N Main St, Columbia City, IN 46725). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
