She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Chivington and Bernice Chivington (Counsellor); her former husband William Schlau; and her brothers, Donald Chivington and Daniel Chivington.

She is survived by: her husband Jerry Kolkman; her brother Kenneth Chivington; her stepson Lonnie Kolkman (Dana); her nephew Kevin Chivington (Cindy); and her niece Dawn Chivington.

Memorial donations may be given in memory to Full Life Ministry Kenya.
