It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lillie Ann Mills of Columbia City, Indiana, who passed away on November 20, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Lillie Ann has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lexie Ward and Sunshine Sweet (Andrus); her husband James R. "Buddy" Mills; and her son-in-law Terry Springer. She is survived by: her children, Cynthia Huffman (Mike), Sylvia Springer, Ron Mills (Ann), Patricia Tuttle (Tom), Ken Mills (Carrie) and Nora Hively (Rich). She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren with one on the way, and six great great-grandchildren.
Memorials in her memory may be made to Humane Fort Wayne or Parkview Hospice.
