It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lester L. King of Columbia City, Indiana, who passed away on March 9, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, A. Ralph King and Opal King (Wolfe); and his sister Marylin King. He is survived by: his wife Deb; his children, Debbie King (Charlie Dull), Jeff King (Dee), Sandy Petersen (Michael) and Amie LaRue (Chris); and his siblings, Leta Erne and David King. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the DeMoney-Grimes Funeral Home (600 Countryside Dr, Columbia City, IN 46725). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be given in memory of Lester to Community Bible Church, Larwill Fire Department or Whitley County Humane Society.
