He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert and Evelyn. He is survived by: his wife Irene; his son Steve Thain (Beth); his grandchildren, Kyle, Kati and Kalista; and his brother Lyle Thain. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
Preferred memorials are to the Riley Children's Hospital in memory of Kelvin.
