Fugate of Columbia City, Indiana, born in Hazard, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 29, 2024 at the age of 79. As Jordan departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Jordan may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Jordan leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Fugate and Ruth Fugate (Hogston); his former wife Rosemarie; and his son Chester. He is survived by: his wife Virginia L. Tripp; his daughter Tammie Wojciechowski (John) of Lexington, NC; and his stepsons, James Tripp (Michelle) of Batavia, IL, Jon Tripp Jr. (Cora) of Shorewood, IL and Robert Tripp (Kellie) of Confidence, CA. He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
