It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Whittenberger (Columbia City, Indiana), born in Huntington, Indiana, who passed away on September 23, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Arthur Whittenberger and Florence Whittenberger (Kerch); his wife Helen J. Whittenberger; his children, Terry Tescula (John), Rick Whittenberger (Taby), Allan Whittenberger (Kat) and Todd Whittenberger (Karrie Carpenter-Aker); and his brother William Ruben Whittenberger. He was also cherished by 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be given in his memory to Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home or for Young Eagles Flight Program through the EAA Chapter 2 in Fort Wayne.
