It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Theodore Grable of Columbia City, Indiana, who passed away on August 9, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Reverend Paul Grable and Effie Grable (Surfus); his daughter Jill Denney; his brother Roger Grable; and his granddaughters, Heather Medley and Autumn Grable.
He is survived by: his wife Flossie Baron; his children, Lee Grable (Carol) of Fort Wayne, Timothy Grable (MiYong) of Columbia City, Steve Grable (Jennifer) of Tri-Lakes and June James of Auburn; his stepchildren, William McKenzie (Kim) of North Manchester, Donna Medley of Liberty Mills, Norma Jean Barker (Larry) of North Manchester, Kathy Nunemaker (Michael) of Huntington and Cindy Howard of Indiana; and his sisters, Julia Holbrook of Warsaw and Nora Gray of Columbia City. He is also survived by many grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
