He is survived by: his children, Josh, Jocelyn and Cortney; his wife Julie Mattes; his children, Jacob Mattes (Jocelyn), Joshua Mattes (Cortney Magers) and Jessica Mattes; his parents-in-law, John and Joyce Reed; his brothers, Edward Mattes, Walter Mattes (Jyl), Michael Mattes (Donna) and Robert Mattes (Tina); and his nieces and nephews, Joseph Mattes (Kelly), Raymond Mattes, Megan Hayes (Damian), Nicholas Mattes, Tiffany Munro (Nicholas) and Robert Esquivel (Margaret). He is also survived by two great-nephews and a great-niece.
