It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jim Junior North (Columbia City, Indiana), who passed away on December 10, 2024, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elijah North and Cordelia North (Saylor); and his sister Shirley Phelps. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia J. Hull Pequignot; his children, Brian North (Heather) of Michigan, Crystal Powers (Christopher) of Michigan, Sue Ann Black of New Haven, Angel North (Dan Anderson) of St. Louis Park, MN and Jimmie Jay North (Caasi) of Fort Wayne; his stepsons, Matthew Pequignot of Columbia City, Chad Pequignot (Denise Reeg) of Columbia City and Jeremy Pequignot of South Whitley; and his sisters, Lynn Bell of Fort Wayne, Norma Jean Parker of Fort Wayne and Karen Valeri of Oceanside, CA.. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Smith & Sons Funeral Home (207 N Main St, Columbia City, IN 46725). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
