It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jesse DeWayne Lane of Columbia City, Indiana, who passed away on January 22, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mabel Evelyn Lane (Steele) and Jesse Evelyn; and his in-laws, Ova and Gladys Clem. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Clem; his children, Bruce Lane (Dixie) of Columbia City and Christina Truex (Cory) of Warsaw; his grandchildren, Macenzie Ritchie (Zechariah), Tyler Lane, Isabelle Lane, Bailee Lane, Courtney Kessens (Johnny) and Jessica Thompson; and his sisters, Brenda Ferber (Charles), Mary Lucas (Dave), Joyce Lane and Joy Bennett (Dennis).
Memorial donations may be given in memory of DeWayne to the Shriners Hospital for Children.
