He is survived by: his wife Doris Jean Hill; his children, Jenny C. Pence of Columbia City, Sarah J. Pence (Kip Trier) of Burket, Leah J. Pence (Charles "Buck" Kilgore) and Jason L. Pence of Columbia City; his sister Marty Scott (Dale); and his pet Luke. He is also survived by six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
