Janet Marie Claxton Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 18, 2023, at the age of 75, Janet Marie Claxton of Columbia City, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, F. Edward Wilhelm and Genevera Wilhelm-Arnold (Gaff); her brother Donald Wilhelm; her nephew Jeremy Wilhelm; her niece Pamela Wilhelm; her great-nephew Kane Kinley; and her siblings-in-law, Sandra Kelly, Eugene Claxton, Tivis Bolen and Anthony Patrick Kelly.
She is survived by: her husband Ed Claxton of Patrick's Catholic Church; her children, Scott Claxton (Jodi) and Denise Claxton of Columbia City, Indiana; her grandchildren, Alecia Patrick, Alexandra Musser (James), Katriona Banks, Krystal Benzinger, Andrew Conrad, Wyette Conrad, Logan Claxton and Josephine Claxton; her brothers, James Wilhelm (Karen), Doyle Wilhelm and Jerome Wilhelm; and her sisters-in-law, Roberta Bolen, Marie McCaulley (Roy), Tina Zaugg (David), Lisa Moser (Edward) and Rebecca Tubbs (Joel). She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews; and numerous great nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be given in memory to the Glioblastoma Foundation or for masses for Janet at St. Patrick's Catholic Church.
