He was predeceased by: his parents, Vern Yant and Della Yant (Brunner); his wife Gloria Slusser; his daughter Toye Mauzy; his siblings, Gloria Line and Ronnie Yant; and his granddaughter Lillie Yant.
He is survived by: his children, Cindy Pettigrew (Thomas) of Columbia City, Mark Yant (Vickie) of Columbia City and Carol Leininger (Mike) of Columbia City. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
