It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Irene Poynter of Columbia City, Indiana, who passed away on October 28, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clayton Anderson and Ressie Anderson (Bottom); her husband Harry Poynter, Jr.; her siblings, Louise Browning, Kenneth Anderson, Warren Anderson, Bill Gingrich and Colleen Anderson; and her stepfather Harry Dailey.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cindy Myers (Kenny) of Elwood, Pam Davis (Red) of Anderson, Jenny Borkowski (Greg) of Marion, Julie Howell (David) of Elkhorn, WI and Debbie Lewellen (Bobby) of Arcadia; her brother Thomas Anderson of Fort Wayne; her niece Sally Bordeau; and her friend Aggie Millspaugh. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild.
