We bid farewell to Heather Marie Rice of Columbia City, Indiana, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 28, 2024 at the age of 54. Heather Marie touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her mother Judy Rice (Burniston); her brothers, Freddie Fryback and Lance Rice; and her nephew Colton Burns. She is survived by: her father Frederick; her daughter Mekynzi Ivar (Peter); her granddaughters, Kayezlin and Violeta Ivar; her siblings, Renee Howell-DeLieto (Tony), Roger Rice, Jennifer Fryback, Danny Rice, Jr., Jason Fryback (Elizabeth) and Megan Couch (Johnny); her sister-in-law Melissa Rice; her sister Jennifer Hardin; and her cousin Gina Sabol. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the DeMoney-Grimes Funeral Home (600 Countryside Dr, Columbia City, IN 46725). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be given in memory of Heather to assist with her final funeral expenses c/o DeMoney-Grimes Funeral Home.
