He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Smith and Annabelle Smith (Borne); and his son Curt Smith. He is survived by: his daughter Trina McConnell of Columbia City; his granddaughters, Emma and Alicia Smith; and his brothers, Kenneth Smith (Cathy) of Goshen and Duane Smith (Dianna) of Columbia City. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
