He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Egolf Egolf and Ruth Egolf (Borgman); his former wife Marilyn Sweeney; his wife Judith; his stepchildren, Amanda Roberts Wells (Steve) of West Chester, OH, Andrew Roberts (Shanon) of Columbia City and Jason Sweeney (Tracy) of Monroeville; his grandchildren, Skye, Kendra Roberts, Nicholas, Anna Wells, Alexis, Jack and Hannah Sweeney; his siblings, Dennis Egolf (Becky) of Chicago, Gary Egolf (Cathy) of Columbia City, Jody Long of Columbia City and Cindy Egolf of Italy; his brother-in-law John Long; and his nephew Alex Egolf. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:45 PM at the Smith & Sons Funeral Home (207 N Main St, Columbia City, IN 46725). A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
