She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Kennedy and Grace Kennedy (Wise); her husband Guy Hively; and her brothers, Richard Kennedy and Donald Kennedy.
She is survived by: her sister Martha Bowser (Sam); her sister-in-law Evelyn Kennedy; her stepchildren, Cindy Thompson, Ginger Ford (Dan), Ginny Rowland (Mike) and Randy Hively (Lola); and her granddaughters, Evelyn Hively and Amanda Hively. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions in memory of Ellen may be made to New Hope Wesleyan Church.
