It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dennis E. Hinen of Columbia City, Indiana, who passed away on August 27, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Hinen and Betty Hinen (Gale); and his sister Shirley Dahms. He is survived by: his wife Mary Alice Hinen; his children, Todd Michael Hinen (Trisha), Lisa Wall (Clint) and Danny Hinen (Darla); his grandchildren, Skylar Onley (Mitchell), Trey Hinen (Alyssa), Trent Hinen, Peyton Wall, Parker Wall and Sydnee Hinen; his stepgrandchildren, Tyler Maggart, Landon Maggart and Kyle Maggart; his great grandchildren, MJ and Teddy; his siblings, Penny Sue Hinen-Kramer (Troy) and Jerry Hinen (Marna); and his brother-in-law Matthew Dahms.
Memorial donations may be given in memory to Alzheimer's Association or Whitley County 4H Foundation.
