He was predeceased by: his parents, George Jr. Rice and Vada Rice (McClure); his son Lance Rice; his grandson Colton Burns; and his brothers, Ricky Rice and William Howard.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Rice; his children, Heather Rice, Renee Howell, Roger Rice, Jennifer Fryback, Danny Rice, Jr., Jason Fryback (Elizabeth) and Megan Rice; his siblings, Bob Rice (Nancy), Steve Rice, George Rice III (Lancia), Kenny Rice (Bonnie), Dianna Maggart and Pam Ewing; and his daughter-in-law Melissa Rice. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given toward his funeral expenses, in care of DeMoney-Grimes.
