He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Smith and Helen Smith (Martindale); his brother Omer Smith; and his sister-in-law Patty Smith. He is survived by: his spouse Annell Smith (Hoover); his children, Lorinn L. Smith of Fort Wayne and Todd E. Smith (Tina); his grandchildren, Jared Smith and Jessica Smith of Huntington County; his siblings, George Smith of Miami County, Ann Dailey of Huntington and Ralph Stout of Lagro; and his pets, CoCo, Star and Zoey. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
