It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty N Hess Kyler (Columbia City, Indiana), born in Fulton, Indiana, who passed away on December 9, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Shafer and Irene Shafer (McCloughan); and her husband Harold F. Kyler. She is survived by: her former husband George E. "Ed" Hess; her son Stephen Hess (Darlene) of Fort Wayne; and her brother Robert Shafter (Joyce) of Warsaw. She is also survived by four grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
