She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilhelm Megies and Hedwig Megies (Merteney); her husband James Bishop; and her siblings, Ursula Reiter, Khrista Biers and Manfred Megies.
She is survived by: her sons, Rainer Kimmell (Lisa) and Andy Kimmell (Iva); her stepdaughters, Jill Lee (Brian) and Susan Girardot (Jerry); and her sister Irene Young. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
