He was predeceased by: his parents, Alva A. Myers Sr. and Loretta B. Myers (Green); his wife Darlene Busz; his daughter Vicki Thompson; his stepdaughter Mary Ann Gable; his grandchildren, Shannon Noel and Mark Haudenschild II; and his sisters, Mary Ellen Cartwright and Helen Bell.
He is survived by: his daughters, Linda L. Screeton of Fort Wayne and Susan M. Haudenschild (Mark) of Columbia City; his stepsons, Mark Busz (Kathy) of Warsaw and Max Busz (Lisa) of Pierceton; and his siblings, Ronald Myers (Darlene) of New Haven and Pauline Geisleman of Huntington. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Preferred memorials are to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Woodburn Christian Children's home.
