He was predeceased by: his parents, Ball Stephenson and Mamie Stephenson (Parmely); his siblings, Vester Stephenson (Bea), Cecil Stephenson (Marie), Bruce Stephenson (Audrey), Dexter Stephenson and Jerlene Parmely (Elvis); and his sister-in-law Jan Peterson.
He is survived by: his wife Juanita Hollars; his son Vance of Colfax; his sister Vela Stephenson of Monticello, Kentucky; his siblings-in-law, Elsie of Frankfort, Tom Goode of Frankfort, Geneva of Frankfort, Floyd Roberts of Frankfort, Shannon of Frankfort, Loretta Hollars of Frankfort and Curt Peterson of Rossville; and his close friends, John, Vicki Randall, Shirley Cox and Janea Rich. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
