It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Glen R. Platt of Colfax, Indiana, born in Clarks Hill, Indiana, who passed away on September 20, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Platt and Cloe Platt (Fleming); his wife Martha Ellen Coopman; and his sister Pluma Cornell. He is survived by: his children, Glenda Hawthorne (Mike) of Colfax and Brent Platt of Clarks Hill; his grandchildren, Mike Hawthorne, Aaron Hawthorne (Lauren) and Melenda Scott (Zach); his stepgrandchildren, Tyler Reeder and Samantha Hoffman; his great grandchildren, Makayla, Taylor (Kaitlyn), Tatum, Joe, Jayden, Bronx, Max, Miller and Jordyn; and his sister Anita Barker of Royal Center.
