He was predeceased by: his parents, Clell Norton and Jessie Norton (Chasteen); his brothers, Keith and Coleman Norton; and his brothers-in-law, David Grimes and Larry Yazel.
He is survived by: his wife Kay Norton of Colfax; his children, Kelly Buck of Carmel and Brad Norton (Natalie Cox) of Frankfort; his sisters, Dorothy Grimes and Lorene Yazel; his grandsons, Zack and Ben Buck (Addie); and his great grandchildren, Audrey, Lucy and Ellis Buck.
