He is survived by: his children, Joseph Tate (Nicole) of Freehold, Edward Tate (Tina) of Zeigler and Liz Mattingly (David) of Colfax; his grandchildren, Kassidy Tate, Morgan Tate, Tatum Nash, Emma Nash, Riley Tate and Dannarai Tate; his sister Loretta Lee Doty of Monticello; and his pet Pete.
