He was predeceased by: his parents, John J. and Barbara J. Kunkel (Smitley). He is survived by: his wife Kathy J. Kunkel (Phillips); his children, Ryan Kunkel (Carrie) of Zionsville, IN, Adam Kunkel of Indianapolis and Ara Wallace (Michael) of Coatesville, IN; his sisters, Cindy Gregory, Mary Beth Dyar and Sally Brandenburg; and his grandchildren, Stella, Hazel and Madison.
