He was predeceased by: his parents, Delbert Simmons and Ruth Simmons (Johnson); his former wife Mary Elkins (McClellan); and his sister Charlotte Ann Johnsen. He is survived by: his sister Annice Wright; his children, Jeanann Knoy (Darrell) and Dean Collier (Rita Gabra-Collier); and his grandchildren, Cara Harbison (Dalton), Alyssa Carter, Charles Jordon Collier and Kevin M. Collier. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers: Brandon Fortner, Scott Whitaker, Joey Hadley, Mike Toole, John Grbick, John "Scooter" Leitzman; honorary: Tom Freije, Dwayne Wildman, Dale Carter, In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be made to the Stilesville Christian Church Food Pantry.
