With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Marguerite Barnes of Cloverdale, Indiana, who passed away on January 14, 2023 at the age of 105. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter C. Sanderson and Ethie M. Sanderson; her brothers, Estes and William Sanderson; and her husband Owen Barnes.
She is survived by: her son Victor Barnes; her grandchildren, Stacy Tucker (Brad Tucker), Tracy McBride (late Tim McBride), Chad Receveur and Trisha Barnes (Scott Husler); and her great grandchildren, Brady Tucker (Mira Tucker), Mitchell McBride (Katie Hammett), Mathew McBride and Aydin Receveur. She is also survived by husband and family.
Sympathy flowers may be sent to Whitaker Funeral Home in Cloverdale, IN or in lieu of flowers a donation may be made to a charity close to Marguerite's heart, The Red Cross.
