She was predeceased by: her mother Ellen Adkins (Hooker). She is survived by: her father James Adkins of Valparaiso; her sons, Josh Adkins (Loretta) of Fountaintown, Derek Gertzen (Elizabeth) of Valparaiso, Brandon Gertzen of Valparaiso and Zachary Gertzen of Valparaiso; her granddaughters, Ellie Adkins and Hailey Wills; her brother Donnie Adkins (Tonya) of Valparaiso; her niece Rebecca of Valparaiso; and her nephew Ethan Adkins of Valparaiso.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Huntington's Disease Society of America.
