She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Proffitt and Maggie Proffitt (Cline); and her spouse Dean Brown. She is survived by: her daughters, Barbara Brown and Dana Adams; and her grandchildren, Tasha Layne, Jacob Thompson and Wade Thompson. She is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren.
