He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Russell and Helen Holmes (Richmond); and his brothers, Scott and Kenny Holmes. He is survived by: his parent-in-law Sandy Kay Holmes (Rosemeyer); his wife Sandy Kay Holmes of Cloverdale; his children, Andrea Noufer (Matt) of Colorado and Scott Holmes of Pittsboro; and his grandchildren, Tyler, Madelynn, Matthew, Malloree, Brody, Austin and Addison. He is also survived by two great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
