He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Nix and Christine Nix (Warmouth); and his sister Patty Goss. He is survived by: his daughter Paula Chase (Shane) of Mooresville, Indiana; his siblings, Rick Nix of Martinsville, Indiana, Judy Bales (Martin) of Martinsville, Linda Arthur of Paragon, Indiana and Alberta "Birdie" Carpenter (Don) of Paragon, Indiana; and his grandsons, Daniel and Tyler Nix. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
