She was predeceased by: her parents, John L McFarland and Doris Stattner (Cannon); her husbands, Paul Grove and Don Patton; her son Philip Grove; her siblings, Sharon McFarland, Henry Nelson, Wayne McFarland and Steve McFarland; and her sister-in-law Rita McFarland.
She is survived by: her son Dennis Whitaker (Karen) of Cloverdale; her stepchildren, Don Patton Jr. (Susan), Michael Patton (Billie), Marianne Abell (Frank) and Thomas Patton (Sandy); her siblings, Cheryl Bentley (Tom) of Tavares, FL and James McFarland of Orlando, FL; and her sister-in-law Margaret McFarland of Ocala, FL. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
