He was predeceased by: his parents, Clair Herrington and Jesse Herrington (King); his grandson Cody Thomas Arbour; and his siblings, Gordan Herrington (Patricia), Victor Herrington, Donald Herrington (Nedra) and Doris Jewell Herrington.
He is survived by: his wife Cathy Herrington (Russell); his children, Jon Herrington of Noblesville, IN, Jay Herrington (Jacki) of Ottawa Lake, MI, Pat Herrington (Julie) of Chyenne, WY, Barb Arbour (JT) of Bourbonnais, IL and Machell Deeringer (Clayton) of Romeoville, IL; his brother Harry Herrington (Sandy); and his sister-in-law Barb Herrington. He is also survived by 13 Grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
